As luck would have it, we arrived in Charleston, West Virginia on Saturday to find an arts festival in full swing, with live bluegrass music and some of the area’s finest artists displaying their work.

Out of the Virginias and into the Carolinas, we’ll continue the Cover America Tour this week making our way across the Southeast. It was hard to leave the lush green mountains of Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. We all wished we had more time to enjoy the sights.

A packed week lies ahead for us, with several interviews and a Fourth of July bash in the name of patient safety in Aiken, South Carolina. Hopefully we’ll find some time to take in some of the ocean breeze while we listen to the health care stories of Carolinians.
