The Cover America Tour happened in Summer 2008. Find out what we're doing now to improve health care. Visit www.PrescriptionforChange.org!
Plans to pull into the Brattleboro farmers market and talk to folks were rained out, so we kept on rolling across this glorious green state. But not before stocking up on some of Vermont’s finest cheddar and maple syrup. Talking health care comes second to none on this trip, but hey – we know a good thing when we see it.
After a packed first week we made like the locals and slowed down enough to enjoy the relaxed vibe as we cruised through the Green Mountains. It can be hard to ‘unplug’ (we are probably more teched out than any other RV you’ll ever drive past) – but when cell phone service and internet connections drop out on those backroads there’s not much else to do than kick back and enjoy the views.
Are you a Vermonter with a health care story to tell and a video camera? Drop us a line. If you send us some good footage, we’ll get your story up online to represent Vermont on the Cover America Tour.
What's a URL? It's not the p/word because when I put mine in it showed, instead of a row of asterisks. And what on earth are HTML tags? Plse speak plain English, we're not all experts out here.
I'm not going to be able to comment on your tour; NY is not even indicated on your map! You shd at least come to Brooklyn, the best boro in the city! I like the idea. Gaye Leslie
