This should not be happening in America. We used to be the greatest country in the world. What has happened to us?

Anyone who hasn't seen the movie SICKO should find a copy and watch it and share it with friends. Laurel shared it with me and it made me sick to see how we treat our fellow Americans.

The U.S. is turning into a third world nation while the rich get richer.

We better wake up before it's too late.

I know Laurel as a friend and political volunteer. She has been a nurse for 25+ years and she can't even get the care that she deserves now that she has a serious disability. She is one of an unacceptable number of people in the same situation. This has got to end!
